As the leaves turn all kinds of pretty colors and the air gets chilly, it’s time to welcome fall! This season, the weather is changing a lot and we’re all in for fun activities and holidays. Let’s dive into the fall weather and find out what SCHS students enjoy doing the most during this time!
Fall is such a magical season. The weather goes from sunny and warm to cool and crisp, especially in Texas.
“My favorite thing about fall is definitely the change in weather, the chilly weather is very nice, ” senior Elijah Fernandez said.
One day, you’re wearing shorts, and the next, you’re bundled up in sweaters. The weather has a lot of surprises and especially in Texas we get a taste of it all.
Fall is not just about the weather though; it’s also about having loads of fun. Crunching leaves under your feet, picking pumpkins, and going apple-picking are the best. Plus, there are autumn festivals with tasty drinks and hayrides, and of course also spooky costume gatherings for halloween with loads of candy!
“I love everything about autumn, but I just love when the leaves turn orange and I can crunch them when I walk,” senior Channing Arkless said.
Fall is a season to enjoy change and surprises. It’s the time for cozy sweaters, warm drinks, and watching leaves fall.
“The seasonal drinks at Starbucks are my favorite thing, I love a good pumpkin spice drink from there,” senior Layla Kirby said.
There are so many fun fall activities and thoughts on the changing weather. Use it up and attend some fun things with friends. It only lasts for so long till it’s Christmas time.
