Students in the new Pickleball Club swept the tennis courts after school for some friendly doubles competition on Wednesday, Aug. 21.
“I have never played pickleball before,” junior Matthew Miller said. “But I came out here and it was a lot of fun. It’s easy to learn. It’s easy to adapt to. The people are willing to teach you all the rules, and help you to get better.”
Whether you have no experience or are a professional, Pickleball Club works with all skill levels and is open to everyone, compromising with most schedule conflicts.
“There are no specific requirements for joining the club,” junior Reese Shevcheck said. “People can come and go during the whole hour and a half.”
Pickleball Club is a requirement-free club and can be a fun way to spend time with friends.
“Just being out with my friends, socializing with them, and playing around. It’s just fun,” senior Trent Garthe said.
Pickleball Club meets every Wednesday after school at the tennis courts.
