This year’s Mamma Mia cast is excited to perform their first fall musical of the year and shared an inside view of their roles and perspectives.
“My favorite play to be in has been Mamma Mia,” senior Keri Ovalle said. “The rehearsal process isn’t even half way done and this is already the most fun I’ve ever had.”
Keri who is playing the part of Sophie is pulling double duty by also serving as musical director along with senior Abel Castro.
“It has been so much fun teaching everyone music,” Keri said. “The ensemble is incredibly talented. So, they make my job very easy.”
Keri’s former Mean Girls co-star sophomore Maci Lovell is also excited for her role in the musical Mamma Mia as well as serving as dance director.
“I’m excited to teach choreography, bringing visions to life and seeing my cast perform my work,” Maci said, sharing she’s most excited for “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme.”
