With the new group of freshmen comes a new slate of class officers ready to make changes for their friends and classmates. The president of the class, Soraya Tillman, has many hopes for the future of th freshman at Summer Creek.

“My plans for the future are to continue to grow as a leader, organize fun things students can do and enjoy, and keep it fun and exciting,” Tillman said.

Vice-President Kylie Currie was enthusiastic about her role on the student council as well.

“I felt I had valid ideas and points that could contribute to Summer Creek’s environment… running for vice president could help implement those ideas and make me a face that people knew they could come to in a time of need,” Currie said.

The future of the freshman class is especially important to Secretary Audrey Brown.

“It will be packed with energy, execution, hard work and dedication,” Brown said.

The Class of 2026’s class officers’ plans seem promising and hopefully they’ll all try their best to better the lives of freshmen all around the school.
