The choir students kicked off the year with an amazing first concert, finally being able to show not only their friends and family but every choir member what they’ve been working on in class.
The concert was held on Sept. 19 in the Performing Arts Center. There were a variety of different music styles, languages and some songs even having a dance to tie the song all together.
Each choir performed two of their own songs along with two combined pieces and any students who were participating in the all-state process were able to sing those songs along with the other choir.
“I was very impressed to hear how well and mature the voices of the other choirs sounded already and I can’t wait to hear what they sound like later on in the year,” senior chorale choir member Khye Colbert said.
