Dinosaur bones, mummies, and information all around. This is describes Houston’s Museum of Natural Science which academic UIL went to on a field trip on Nov 28.
“It was about applying what we have been learning.” Junior Cayden Affleck said. “And retaining the information that we learned.”
Affleck said this to explain how the field trip to the natural science museum could be beneficial to academic UIL. It can help them learn new information and have fun while doing it. This will help them in their events during their competitions.
“Looking at how history shaped up to where it is now,” Affleck said. “That concept of learning and growing in our learning.”
This shows how something fun can also be beneficial to all areas of life, and why the academic UIL team went to the museum where they can learn, and build their knowledge.
