As we move into the 14th year of Summer Creek’s opening we must stop to notice all of the many new teachers we have acquired. We also have to appreciate the footsteps that our original Bulldogs have taken to get us where we are today.
Although they have already created an influential path, they have no problem lending our new teachers advice.
“My advice would be to build your success within your classroom,” Criminal justice teacher Mr. Dwight Smith said.
Smith is one of our original Bulldogs. He has created a very significant legacy in our criminal justice program. Not only does he give very valuable advice, he also plans to continue and move forward within the criminal justice path.
Meanwhile, our new teachers seem to be already starting off on a good foot to a very successful path. Seeing how plenty of our new pups love the new start. They are also very excited to teach and learn all they can from not only their students but also the original Bulldogs. They are already lining up their plan to make their time at Summer Creek as successful as possible. They’re very eager to see their career unfold as a fellow Bulldog.
Although our teachers have different timelines at Summer Creek, it doesn’t change the values that both our OG and new Bulldogs have in common. One of those values being support from the other teachers and just their environment around them.
“The APs and principals and just the other teachers’ support is really big to me,” ASL teacher Ashlend Taylor said.
